[ Why do we worship, Why do we praise? ]

The most important answer is that the bible says we were created to do so, created to praise Him for who He is, for what He’s done and for what He’s going to do! As a church we are devoted to worshiping God. It is an integral part of what we do…and we love to do it!

When you look at something beautiful, you can’t help but express, whether verbally or in your heart how good that something looks. As we look upon the wonders of God’s creation, as we read through the pages of His word and see His amazing sacrifice, the everlasting love He has for us, we cannot help but express our thanks and our praise to our God, Jesus Christ.

He created music, He created singing, and as David, who wrote the Psalms once said

“Praise God in His holy house of worship

Praise Him under the open skies,

Praise Him for His acts of power

Praise Him for His magnificent greatness

Praise with a blast on the trumpet

Praise by strumming soft strings

Praise Him with castanets and dance

Praise Him with banjo and flute

Praise Him with cymbals and a big bass drum

Praise Him with fiddles and mandolin

Let every living, breathing

creature praise God”!
